I need to jot this down before I forget everything! It’s been almost a week now since I’ve saved my brother Dudon from Moria! Man was it a journey! So after getting lost after Cirdu left the camp, and losing my Journal, I met up with the girl that was meeing me there. Kynethryt I call her just Kyne for short.  She is great!

Kyne and I made our way up the stairs, and for some reason… I forgot every single landmark and thing that Cirdu pointed out to me…. It just skipped my mind.. Her and I got lost for a good… I’m not even sure time in Moira itself gets lost! It seemed like forever being lost! In the end.. we just ended up paying the stable hand for a ride since the Ram knew the way more then we Did!

After we got to Dolven-View we made our way to the Silvertine lodes. Which opened out to a long bridge. Cirdu and I scouted this before, so I showed Kyne the blood that we had found before. And told her that it was red, and that Cirdu told me it couldn’t of been Orc’s blood.. because Orc’s blood is black. I did not have much hope for my little buddy.. If you saw the drop… if he fell, I thought the worst.. well at that time.

We made our way across the bridge, and I followed a path I think Dudon would’ve taken if he were escaping the Orcs. We came upon the feasting hall, which wasn’t having a celebration like it was with Cirdu and I came across it.. We snuck past, making our way into the ravine to the bridge.

As the bridge started to come into view, I sprinted. I think Kyne asked me something about my emotions.. I don’t really remember... I knew I was either going to find something.. just not sure of what. There was a corpse of a dwarf… As I saw it.. I screamed for Kyne to come… she came, to our surprise it moved! we lifted the corpse, and there was Dudon! ALIVE! I quickly gave him the pies and cakes I packed for him. I knew he had to be starving! Poor guy, he had lost some of this teeth! and his leg was badly injured. Kyne handed me some bandages but I had no idea what to do with them. I offered to carry him on my back, but she did a makeshift field bandage. It turns how Dudon survived the fall because the dwarf broke it, but killing the dwarf. Dudon moved the corpse on top of him to keep the cave beasts from  getting to him.  We set a fire, and burned the dwarf’s body… I’d like to say we had a moment, or even some words for the poor soul.. but we didn’t.

We figured since there was  a dwarf mining out there, that there had to be a camp near by. so we headed down the ravine where we thought it would be at.  We had to slay a few cave beasts, but most just growled at us as we passed by. We were fine… until we ran into some Worms… the wingless drakes! They were a problem. We got ambushed by three at a time! We tried to fight them off… but it started looking grim, so we fled. Luckilly there was indeed a Dwarf camp! The guards helped us finish off the wingless drakes, and we took a breather.

Dudon and Kyne went about talking to the healer, while I looked around the camp for some supplies. I noticed my little friend poking around the dwarves that were sitting around the table playing some kind of card game drinking…Realising this, I went into action with our ol’ Distract N Snatch! Started a big conversation with the lads about… you know I can’t even remember now… But Kyne also helped distract them. It was great to have some help on that end, not as suspicious then! Once I noticed Dudon hobbling away with his newly accquired gear, we left the dwarves… and left the camp rather quickly before they can realise what happened.

Dudon wanted to get revenge on the big orc who hurt him, so we set out for the orc camps… Well, I had no idea at this point where I was… but I followed my friends they seemed to know where to go.. My sense of direction is just not there I tell ya!

We came across a big orc… He had to be a lieutenant or something! He was huge! Dudon pointed him out, and we made sure to make quick work of him. He put up a fight, but stood no chance with the three of us ! Then from there… well… I can’t describe where we went… its all a blur now! But we did come across another camp.. in the camp was this well.

Dudon and I were looking down it, trying to judge the distance of it… He was saying it was far.. I was saying it wasn’t.. I could see the bottom! or so I thought I was… Meanwhile, Kyne came to check out what we were looking at, and she slipped in!! Dudon jumped after her and I jumped in after him! Boy was it a fall!! We landed in some water pit! There were turtles, frogs, salamanders, crazy looking orc people you name it! I can’t tell you how we escaped… because I don’t remember… I remember a lot of windy caverns and eventually being outside of Moria with my friends…

When we were outside, Dudon had a little scroll case… It had  a riddle in it! Apparently it led to treasure.. and boy was it a find!

Beyond the king, a path you must choose, both lead to work but one leads to booze.

Afar from Dwalin's throne will you stand, twin stones in line to deep delvings grand.

Snoring and roaring your path becomes wet, down by the keep a troll youve not met.

Presenting two shows is the bust of our king, one is for drinking the other dancing in rings.

Four oaken walls stand tall held with lumber, picking just one will require my number

Time is so short when its going around, because of men's height it won't be on the ground

One means nothing, two could be right, three has no purpose but four possibly might.

I hadn’t a clue! Kyne the brains of the operation though, figured it out… It was in Torin’s Hall.. Her being the brains, I had to be the brawns  I guess! Haha! I was the one who climbed the kegs and threw the one down they were pointing at. It was soo much treasure!! I haven’t sold all of mine yet, Lots of gems, metals and shards. A great harvest for sure. I should really look into knitting more often!!

Kyne said there was a riddle back in Moria she found, so her Dudon and I might head back there in a few weeks… once Dudon has fully recovered that is, and see if we can find some even more treasure! I haven't seen Cirdu since Moria... I hope he's okay.
