I managed to find someone in town to tidy up my boards to a decent pair of crutches. Even upholstered them with some leather at the ends. Though, They still make my arms sore. I try not to travel around town much. I need to figure out a job here.. I can’t live off the hospitality for much longer.
Thorokor’s house has some food thankfully, but not enough for the time the healer said it would take for me to recover. He said I have about 6-7 weeks from now, before I should consider undoing my bandages. Even after that I wouldn’t beable to do much until the muscles rebuilt. I hope I come across a traveling merchant.. or someone who wont mind taking me in there cart back to Bree.. but the chances of me finding someone do to that for free.. Eh, I don’t see it.
I wrote a few of my friends, sadly I didn’t have the coin to write them all. I’ll have to shuffle around in peoples saddlebags when they aren’t around.. to find some more coppers. It’s frustrating that my only skill is robbing people sometimes.. I mean.. this the only time it’s ever been frustrating.. It’s too dangerous, because I can’t run.. Ugh, What can I do for coin when I have a broken leg? If I was in bree.. I’d just hang out by the farms since they are very lazy and leave crates out of fruit.
If I only had Roach’s saddlebags.. I’d be set! Oh well I better get some rest. Hopefully I hear back from the few friends I wrote to.
