Everlyse was standing in the garden with a child in her arms. Gave small kisses to the little boy and a dog was running around them. The little boy laughed and hugged her, he pointed towards a man after some moments, who stood near their house. Watched them and raised his brow. That man weared black leather armor and a hood was on him, he said to her:
„Hello my little star, I came to take away what’s mine”
She looked at the man with a lot anger in her eyes and picked up the child fast:
„What are you doing here, Garthian?”
He pulled down his hood and watched her up and down slowly, bitten his lips once and said:
„You look so great my precious, but now I want your son. You signed a contract with our company. If we let you to go away and live your life with that man, you will give us your first born child. Now it’s time!”
She gave a kiss to her son and put him down, whispered him „Run into the house now and tell your father to stay with you” The little boy would do what she said and she followed him with her eyes, smiled a bit. She sent away her dog too and pulled out her daggers from her belt, watched him and was ready to defend her family. The man looked at her with a grin on his face and said to her:
„You don’t want to fight Eve. I know how good you are, but you didn’t fight since you have a child, you would die here. Do you want your son to see his mother is lying in her own blood?”
She moved towards him fast and tried to attack him with her daggers. He was right, she wasn’t as good as before. They were fighting for a long time, when the man grabbed her and pulled her arms back. She couldn't move and he put his dagger to her throat:
„So my little star, will you give me your son now, or I should go inside and kill your family too”
„Never Garth, you won’t take away my son…never”
In the next moment he cut her throat and she fell down on the ground…
Everlyse opened her eyes and sat up on the bed, was looking around and noticed her husband, Blince near her in the bed. She sneaked out from the bed and went out to take some fresh air. Touched her stomach softly with both of her hands and started to cry, whispered „I will defend you with my life if I need, don’t worry dear”
She walked back to the house. Sneaked back into the bed, hugged her husband and gave a kiss to him. He opened his eyes and looked at her:
„Are you ok Darlin?”
She nodded to him and rested her head on his chest, closed her eyes and fell asleep again.
