Everlyse stops at the stairs and looking around in the Inn, can't see any familiar faces around. Heads to the counter and orders something to eat.
Iarvenuil nods his head politely at the woman who entered, before turning his gaze back to the flames. Occasionally, he'd inhale from his pipe, and slowly blow out the smoke.
Everlyse glances back at the man by the fire while she is waiting for her meal, grins for a moment and turns back to the bar to order some wine too.
Iarvenuil finally lowers his pipe, as all the pipe weed has been used by now. He takes a step forward and taps the pipe slowly against the stone chimney, in order to knock the remains from the pipe into the fire.
Everlyse at least grabs the plate and mug from the counter, nods to Barliman and heads to the nearest table to sit down.
Iarvenuil leaves his pipe on the wooden planks around the stone chimney, to let it cool down before he'd put it away in its pouch. He raises a hand in the direction of Barliman, raising his voice to make sure the innkeeper would hear him. "A mug of mead, my friend."
Everlyse starts to eat her meal and takes a calm sip from her wine, she would glance at the man by the fire sometimes and scanning his features.
Iarvenuil lays the required amount of coins on the counter when Barliman places his mug in front of him. Iarvenuil nods gratefully at the innkeeper while picking up his mug, before he heads towards the table where the woman is seated.
Iarvenuil says, 'Would you mind if I join you at this table, miss?'
Iarvenuil offers Everlyse a warm, friendly smile. When she would look at him, she'd notice the rather tall man speaks with a slight accent in his voice.
Everlyse nods to him and says kindly "You can sit down"
Everlyse continous to eat her food calmly, she may move her hair away from her face and smiles at him again
Iarvenuil says, 'Thank you kindly, miss.'
Iarvenuil bows his head quickly at her, before taking a seat as well in front of her. He'd raise his mug to his lips, taking a small sip from the mead.
Everlyse is looking around in the Inn again and glances back to him "So quiet today"
Iarvenuil says, 'Honestly, I do not know what to think. I have been away for months, and this is the first time since my recent return that I am here. I quite like it, as calm as it may be, miss.'
Everlyse tilts her head at him and smiles at him "Just like me then, I arrived back here few days ago. I was away for months" She takes a sip from her wine and keeps her eyes on him "May I ask the reason of you leaving?"
Iarvenuil shrugs his shoulders, first taking another sip from his mead before looking back at her. His gaze examines her carefully, to finally rest on those beautiful sea blue eyes of her.
Iarvenuil says, 'It is no secret that war is brewing in the southern lands, miss. I was called to service by my liege, in order to defend the southern lands and riverbanks of Gondor.'
Iarvenuil says, 'May I be so bold to inquire the reason for your absence, miss?'
Gallienus says, 'May I play a song for you, Sir and Madame?'
Everlyse widens her eyes when he says Gondor, but tries to hide her reaction and just stares into his ones, grins again and nods, takes a bite of her food and calmly eats it. Glances back at him, smiles and says in low "I can't tell you my reasons, at least you are a stranger to me." She turns towards the man on her right "May you leave us if I ask you?"
Gallienus says, 'I sure can leave.'
Iarvenuil looks up at the man, bowing his head as a greeting. "My apologies, good man, but I have no need of music as of now." He then turns his gaze back towards Everlyse, grinning widely while taking another sip from his mug. "And are you not a stranger to me, miss? Yet still I told you of my journey south. Or are you attempting to hide something?" A soft chuckle escapes his lips.
Everlyse shakes her head a bit and grins at him "That's your fault if you are telling your things to some strange woman" She takes a sip of her wine while looking at him and smiles a bit.
Iarvenuil says, 'Perhaps that may be true, yet you do not show any good manners by this reaction, miss. Tell me at least the location of where you went then, milady.'
Iarvenuil his warm smile still lays on his lips, showing her he did not mean his words in any offensive way.
Everlyse shakes her head and mumbles "Good manners...where do you live honestly" She takes another sip of her drink and pushes away the plate, stares into his eyes "Evendim" she raises her brow at him "Anything else you wish to know?"
Iarvenuil says, 'Where do I live? Hold on, miss, so that I can show you why I speak of manners...'
Everlyse is looking around in the Inn again and back to him "I live here in Bree"
Iarvenuil places his mug on the table in front of him, and takes off his gauntlets slowly. Soon after, he raises up his left hand towards her, showing a signet ring on his left ring finger, depicting a swan with its wings spread widely. The eyes of the swan are made from small rubies, it seems. "This may clear things up, hm? But no, I needn't know more, for I do not wish to force you."
Everlyse nods to him and grins again "A Swan-knight...such a lucky day" She giggles and stares into his eyes, smiles. She would take off her stole and turns back to him, points at the tattoo at the back of her neck "Signs on everyone" She turns back to him and drinks out her wine.
Everlyse puts back on her stole.
