wild mop of straight, dark hair swings atop Diollo’s head, his thoughtful, dark eyes watching diligently and dutifully from beneath a brooding brow. Gentle features are nevertheless able to set sternly and with an astonishing hardness at a moments notice, as soon as trouble presents itself.
A full face and soft, pale skin suggest a softness and fragility that are misleading and disarming. To speak to, Diollo is almost always softly-spoken and retiring, even introverted, only really speaking frankly of himself or asserting his opinions to those close to him or depending on him to be decisive when under pressure.
Whilst largely controlled and careful, measured in his responses, Diollo is easily amused and likes to laugh, especially with those he trusts and can relax with. Likewise, a fierce sense of justice, and in turn injustice, can prompt him to be outspoken, and to confront any he sees to be committing an infraction or in particular being unkind.
Deep passions and a strong sense of purpose ultimately drive Diollo’s actions and he wears his heart on his sleeve, in that his intent is always just as it appears to be. Dependable and steadfast, Diollo is a staunch ally, and a tenacious foe.

Background
Diollo’s father was a Bounder, and his mother a prominent force in local politics and the office of the mayor, many were heard to say she was a busybody, but only ever behind closed doors, or they would soon come to regret it. Much came to be expected of Diollo and his siblings, of which he was the eldest, and discipline was highly prized in the home.
Sadly, Diollo was accident prone, and trouble seemed to find him, despite his best efforts to avoid it. Be it mixing with the wrong hobbits or being in the wrong place at the wrong time, more often than not his father would arrive with other bounders to intervene in a matter or a difficulty, only to find Diollo not far away and heavily implicated.
Often, in order to best avoid trouble, Diollo would spend time with the Bounders at firesides and by jail-cells, but even then only seemed to find he got under their feet and became a nuisance.
Ever where he should not be, or would prefer not to be, Diollo occasionally even got into fights. The more unsavoury of hobbit youths would even make fun of the fact his father was a Bounder or of his mother and her ways, worse still when they turned their attention to Diollo’s siblings, and how well-behaved they all were, for fear of reprisals from mother or father. The process made him tough, but duly got him into more trouble with his parents.
ccordingly, Diollo eventually became the disappointment among his siblings. In some ways, he was willing to accept the stigma in the household to take attention from his younger siblings. Eventually, however, it would become a little too much to bear. As soon as he came of age, Diollo determined to set out into the lands of men and prove himself worthy of his parents respect.
In no time at all, he had affiliated himself with local militia and guard in Breeland and his engendered respect and self-discipline made him a great student and a stalwart warrior. No sooner had he committed to his path than he began to evolve into an entirely new creature. The respect of his peers and acceptance of fighters twice his size quickly built his confidence to a point where he no longer felt he needed to impress his parents, and began to realise the greater threat to Eriador and his place in the fight against it.
t about this time he encountered the fierce Lynthia Applepeel, and was immediately smitten. He saw in her a similar drive to determine her own fate, and identified immediately with the way she had always found troubles and troubles had always found her, in just the same way. Gladly he resolved to lay down his life to ensure they faced their troubles together, and need never confront a trial alone again. He had found love, and it had found him, and he would never be the same again.| Friends | |

| Relatives | Immediate family |
| Rivals/Enemies | Some childhood troublemakers |
| Loves | Lynthia more than anything, peace, quiet, gentle sounds and gentle places, and the very occasional victory, even if it's a noisy one, and pie, of course, preferably Lynthia's sister's. Oh, and sausages. |
|---|---|
| Hates | More trouble in a day than has any business being there, troublemakers, rude people, rude creatures, orcs for example, and nowhere to sit down |
| Motivation | Get through the day and make Lynthia proud, not necessarily in that order |
| Quotes | Oh dear. Looks like there's more trouble to put right... |
