The House Shortfellow has worked hard to create a party in the celebration of the birthday of Baldio Fur-Shortfellow! It's gonna be a party to remember! And it's open to everyone! Bring your finest clothing, and your finest mood!

There was much coming and going around the village of Michel Delving, a number of dwarves had been seen and scarcely a room could be had at The Bird and Baby. Rumour had it there was to be a grand party, with music, dancing and a lavish feast... and fireworks like had not been seen in many a year. A good number of hobbits who considered themselves well-to-do had received handwritten invitations, but it was generally acknowledged that a larger number had been invited from as far as Buckland and even Bree.
