Métime grabbed Envandiel’s arm, yanking her attention from the delicate wires on the bench in front of her. She yelped, nearly snapping the strand of fine metal. 

In the flickering light of a single candle, Tuilérie admires an old map of Eregion. It was old, yet the artwork was without a doubt well-preserved. With her finger she traced the old roads, following them to near and far off places where she had once traveled.

One evening last Ethuil, a few of elves present in Imladris, gather in the Pillar Hall of Bar-en-Vanimar, for a night of Narn-i-Eldhrim, where those who are present may share memories or stories from the past.

Apart from Tuilerie, others were present as well, such as Camalagos, recently arrived from Lindon, Curulinn, and Aralirion.

Each one share in turn their story or memories, and then suddenly Tuilerie gathers her courage.

            Gaelimil froze with shock at the sight of his dead tutor. He had known Angolchíl the Wise ever since his father had brought him to Ost-in-Edhil for tutelage. The young Laegel did not understand why the Valar had allowed this to happen, and he found them unjust as he was gazing upon the dead body of his teacher. The sound and war chants of the orc army had brought him back to the present. They were in an unknown tongue; a tongue that hurt the young elf upon listening it, unlike anything that had ever hurt him before. And they were nearing.
