preparation

In preparation for the journey south, a report was needed on the most recently-known conditions of the ruins of Eregion. Diruviel wrote the following and submitted it promptly to Hiril Tingruviel, as requested.

Long and untrimmed fingernails brush up against the bark of a soggy tree as tall and bare fingers fumble with a rope to tie it in a secure but undefined knot. The rope follows back up to the horse it holds, and the black Clydesdale gives Stitches an unamused neigh, follow with a huff and a trod of the ground with a frustrated hoof.

After we returned from Duillond, I found this letter on my doorstep. It was send from an unfamiliar place which is called the northern fortress. The letter was from a supplier named Farald requesting specific ingredients against some disease that plagues those lands. Truth be told, I hardly sell potions against diseases as my kin hardly suffer from it. Men however seem rather sensitive for any kind of disease. More reason to go there and meet their local healer, maybe I can learn a thing or two!
