Harding

            The town of Harwick, like many of the major settlements in Rohan, has as its center a great mead hall where the lords sit at court, and councils and feasts are held.  It is here, atop the highest hill in the town, where Seregrían is shown audience with Aldor Harding, the lord of the Wold and the northern marches of Rohan.  Having seen and heard how the Rohirrim conduct

A tall man clad in fur and leather walked down the road with quick steps, his head tilted downward and an umber hood was shadowing his face as if not willing to be seen. He leaned forward, a torch lightening his way until he arrived the stables, glancing about in search of someone.

It was sunset when two Riders arrived at the gates of Harwick, a man and a woman hailing of Snowbourn. They were tall in stature and mighty, but their faces were weary. When they were halted at the gate they swiftly claimed that they came to speak with Reeve Aldor Harding, sharing news.
