Unending Love

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story
Lendes stood outside the door of her manor, the sun setting casting an orange glow over the small homesteads of Heampdean. Windows reflected the sun brilliantly, winking and flicking from dozens of houses, the air hot and clammy, making Lendes sweat in her long golden dress. Standing on the doormat, she saw a small group of knights walking slowly down the road towards her, two men pulling a cart behind that she could hear even from the distance she was standing from. A banner tore and covered in dirt was lazily hanging from its poll, the wind blowing though the holes punched stabbed into it.

Chronicles of Gwenbur: Entry 8

Diary

Gwenbur is sat in her home in Pel-e-Maenas, Falathlorn. She opens the diary, reading through her previous entry. She sighs deeply, turning the page. She commences writing.

It has almost been a month since Telfaras' passing. The weeks have seemed to drag along. Every morning, I wake up in despair; wondering how I am going to endure another day without my dear husband. Will this get any better? I am assured it will, though I cannot see it.

She sighs again, rubbing her forehead. She dips her quill and continues to write.

Letter to Gwenbur: Telfaras' Death

Chronicles of Gwenbur: Entry 7; The Death of Telfaras

Diary

There are countless stains on the page where ink has smudged, possibly from tears. The writing seems hurried and clumsy.

This cannot be! It cannot! I received a letter that I have dreaded receiving ever since he left for Mirkwood. My beloved, beautiful, wonderful husband. He is no more... To even write these words, I feel pain within my heart. I never, ever thought I would see the day where I would have to deal with his death. Never. Please say it is not so!

Chronicles of Gwenbur: Entry 6

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Diary

It has been such a long time since I last written. I have been preoccupied with Defenders business as of late. I was involved in a battle at Gondamon in Ered Luin, many were injured including myself. I was lucky enough to be pulled out of the fray by Zelderan just in time. I had been poisoned by a spider bite and could not walk on my right leg. I am alright now, yet I still have the scar of the bite on my arm.

Gwenbur glances at her arm at the scar, she winces. She dips her quill and continues writing.

I Shall Never See Gondamon Fall!
