Ready for Departure

After a few hours he found a ship that was willing to take him along to Forlond, the ship would depart in four days when a shipment of wine would arrive from Falathlorn. Meanwhile Armanduil found a place to wash and resupply himself after his long journey. His clothes were not fitting for the departure ceremony that would be held in Forlond so he requested a suitable robe from a renowned tailor. The tailor measured his size and began working on a new robe right away. It was a blue silken fabric with very tiny shards of an unfamiliar mineral.

Boatmen of the Lhun

What type of content is this?:
Artwork: Painting

Ever do the boatmen ply the river with a hail and a song, delivering supplies to the small elven towns dotted along the Lhun.

Warm hearths and fine fellowship

The year has waned and the chill winds blow. Wandering Companies have returned to warm and welcoming hearths.

Wave after Wave

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Poetry

Wave after wave rolls on
And the water falls and the line is drawn
Wave after wave rolls in
And the line is gone where my feet have been

Wave after wave rolls on
And the water falls and the line is drawn
Wave after wave rolls in
And the line is gone where my feet have been

Hills that I know are there
Hidden from my view by the misty air
Light shining through the gray
Turns the water deep shades of lilac blue

Music in every sound light beyond each cloud
Hope in every dream

In Times Like These.

Durthand lightly laid a hand upon my arm, in a gesture of support. “Do not be overly concerned, little sister. We must ever expect the unexpected in times like these!”

(Not that Durthand and I were sisters by blood of course. We were kin sisters, who had fallen increasingly into the roles of elder and much younger sibling.)

But I sensed her own surprise, as she turned to fix her gaze on Curugirion. “How long do you expect to be at sea, Hirgonui?” she enquired.

Parting Gift

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

I had ridden swiftly from Thamas Lorn to Mithlond, changing horses on the way instead of making my usual halt at Celondim for Suldal to rest. I would collect her on my return journey. With the Mithdirith about to embark on a mission to the north, haste was of the utmost necessity.

Aearandir’s recent words still echoed in my mind as I rode alongside the bank of the Lhun, heading west. “Have you said farewell to all you love, to all you hold dear?”

Of course I had!

Homeward Bound

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story
We were to be travelling home in the next few days, escorting Galdor’s artefacts and whoever would travel with us to the Havens. We were to return to Thamas Lorn in open view, even as we had ridden here – to bring hope to any free-folk who saw us; to bring fear of our spears and javelins to any lurking enemy. But now it seems the plans are changed….
