An empty table

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Conceptual

As Kim sits at their usual table, looking around at all the empty seats she gets lost in her thoughts. She thinks of how she is alone, once again. She knows that they will be back back but then, in that moment, she was alone. The silence filled her ears, no one left in sight. Her daughter missing them just as much as she was so she put on a brave face, not wanting to show how lonely she was. After all, she is the one who left her partner.

Get me out of here!

The woman sits in silence in her room, stopping herself from bursting in tears. She takes a piece of parchment and starts writing up her feelings.

I was so happy to have you back,

But you left me again and I feel that lack.

Of you, of the things we used to do

You know, my sister, my love was true.

I am left alone in the darkness again,

All of good things faded so what will remain?

The world, so cruel to set us apart,

The pain, that now fills my whole heart,

A lonely Harpist

Resting on a bank,

Tired, Worried, Numb

Her harp in her lap,

Eyes on the Moon,

her Song on the wind.

Traveling, traveling, and more traveling

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Diary

Aigh, another long day.

You'd think that I'd want to get on the horse every day and ride closer to home.

But it's not the case.  I ache all over, and it's just...I miss home.

I miss my friends.  I miss my family.  This would be much eaiser if I had a traveling companion.

Aigh, maybe this is just a case of being travel sore.  Next town I hit, I'll be fine.  Just need a real bed and some real food, that's all.

No time for whinning, there's work to be done.
