The past in writing: Of the time in the household

Story

A slight breeze of warm summer air brought Lutechia gently out of her sleep. It had been yet another long night the day previous. With the entire household turned on its head due to the visit of some highly respected nobles. The feast and talks had carried on long into the evening. And not until after the last nobles had somehow managed to get themselves to their respective bedchambers, did the ruckus die down. Even so, after the feast, there were the cleaning work and she had not gone to bed before spotting the first light of the impending morning.
