I have been furiously writing music and lyrics the past few days to be in time for the Bard's Day Concert in honour of master Ronald Dwale, a very talented hobbit poet and musician.
A fitting tribute in the Shire together with a great audience combined for an evening of perfectly performed music to remember the writers of the tales, poems and songs we treasure. A concert by The Brandy Badgers with a selection of tunes related to one of the finest writers we have seen, master Ronald Dwale.
A lovely little poster can be seen all around the Shire and as far as Bree, pinned on noticeboards , trees, and lamp posts
Oh dance with delight
on Fire Rose's night.
All senses freeing,
Lets dance for being.
The Rose and the fire
Of love in the Shire.
Shall blossom in Sunlight
Embracing the land, bright.
Well, well, well, here we are again. I've been tasked with acompanying a hobbit on something of an adventure, to get stollen goods back. A noble enough deed, of course, but...well, we seem to be in something of a situation. I'm not one for these sorts of places, though they do often end in good songs, and sometimes you can find interesting things within them, but...well, lets just hope this turns out all right in the end.
