Bunty

Now Bunty be a cheerful lass. She had a few things ter tell me, and some quite unexpected. But one had ter do with Murdo the Chessemaker from Stock. Seems he been stealing' ideas from our lads here. I think they will be doing some investigation. Me and Bunty are wiliing ter help.

So we went in and ordered a couple of half pints. Though it was still light, it was getting a bit chilly. I was  glad I had me cloak, but inside the Tavern Keep had the fires lit, so it was cosy there. We ordered mutton stews, with thick buttered bread fer supper. We talked about some of our other mutual friends, and about some of the latest news of Brightlea Brockdown's cushions.

As the evenin's were getting lighter again, I took meself over ter Brockenborings, planning ter stay overnight at the Inn there, The Plough and Stars. 

Right enough, me old friend Bunty was there ter meet with me. She was a local lass, but didn't have a lot of room. It was fine, I was looking forward to a cosy bed, and being brought tea in bed by the bar maid in the morning.
