Visions In The Mirror - Vision I

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

It was the year 457 of the First Age…

During the Nirnaeth Arnoediad, the Battle of Unnumbered Tears…

Just Another Day For The Winged Kindred

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

The sound of horse hooves pounding against the earth resounded. At exhilerating speeds, the small group of riders thundered across the hilly, boulder ridden landscape. Each rock could hide a new threat, another machination of the Dark Lord Morgoth. These riders knew this, for they scouted this area every day. The darkness of the Thrangorodrim's fumes touched this land; though it was broken and thin compared to the foot of the Iron Mountains.

The Joyous Lie ~ Chapter IV

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

"When the Traitor and I spent time together, building that hut and building a runaway life, we…. We wanted to make it as official as possible. We… I… Mythrenniel, I'm pregnant."

The Joyous Lie ~ Chapter III

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

"Are you sure you want to go through with this?"

"Why would I not? I have dreamed of this moment for thousands of years."

Forever

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Poetry

Forever I have yearned for you
Forever have I longed for your love
Forever have I cried for you
Forever I have craved your touch
The seldom few times we shared had not been enough

Forever have I asked for you
Forever have you turned me down
Forever have I wanted you
Forever have you poisoned me with doubt
You are the traitor I must live without

My Only Star

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Poetry

Fire, terror, destroys my home and plunders

A dark shadow, dark lover, pulls me under

I was happy, then I was lost

I was glorious, then I was rot

Regrets are my friends

I remember the bitter end

I carry on these long months

I feel despair, can I have it my way for once?

My house is crumbled, my crafts are stolen

All I have built up has been torn down, fallen

In need of power, ring of flounder

All I have built up is nothing but ground powder

Unblind

This poem was not Aurthiel's writing, but the writing of her former lover, Alasornaion. While investigating and clearing his possessions, investigating his treason, this poem had been found, written in Sindarin and hidden away. Not only did the poem convict him guilty, but it explained his reasons for what he had done. Aurthiel always kept the poem with her, even wrote music to it and performed to herself.

Aurthiel played this song for her daughter, then known as her niece, while training her in Eriador.
