Duncadda, Waelden and Yllfa sitting together in the barn near the Bancross meadhall, planning a social gathering for the villagers and visitors, to brighten the mood in uncertain times.

Raoul Vital Art

Yllfa spent much of her youth near Edoras, and returned there almost two years ago to make a new life from the embers of her families farm. She found far more than she had anticipated.

(This lovely picture is obviously of Eowyn. Yllfa is but of common stock in most aspects, and is no 'Lady' nor holds any rank.)

A Mellow Waning

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Story

She had never been a particularly brooding or isolated soul.

Words and smiles and politeness had flowed so effortlessly in her youth. She went where she was told to go. Spoke affably and easily to whoever she encountered. And smiled without having to muster any measure of will to curve her lips upward into a convincing expression.

Training day - Waelden

What type of content is this?:
Artwork: Artscreen

Waelden is once again back in the saddle after a long time of recovering from the infernal ankle fracture that left him bedridden for many weeks and unable to walk for months. Still there will be alot of training and exercise before he is back to his old self, but at least Ealfin is very happy to carry his old rider again!

Training Day - Ethel

Artwork: Artscreen

Ethel happily joins in with any training or archery practice. The strange designs that appeared overnight in the field behind the house do not worry her.

Training Day - Yllfa

What type of content is this?:
Artwork: Artscreen

Many of the inhabitants of Bancross train when they can. Yllfa defends her pottage with her staff and a well aimed kick, imagining she is defending something, or someone, far more precious.

Poem: So spoke we all

What kind of Adventure is this?:
Poetry

So spoke my mother
of times in quiet peace
when food was plentiful
no mouths went hungry
and a man was made
through strength and heart

To Feel the Grass Again.

And then came the day when Waelden was able to feel the fresh grass under his feet again. Though it would still be some weeks before he could walk unaided, his broken foot had healed well. He was eager to be active, but wise enough to heed Yllfa's cautions. The afternoon the bindings were cut away from his foot, he and Yllfa visited the horses in their nearby yard. Waelden put aside his much disliked crutches for a short time, and steadied himself with the fence. Soon he would be walking and riding properly again, to both his and Ealfin's pleasure..

The Story of a Sword

What type of content is this?:
Screenshot: General screen

Yllfa had asked after the sword, Heruwargr, with some curiosity after it's name. In response, Waelden tells the story of how his father aquired the weapon, and as Ethel returns to join them, it becomes a cosy family evening learning more about Eldewine. Untill a distraught Bronaa arrives.

This picture is of the telling of the tale Of Warg and Man by Waelden
