Delugoth spoke in a low, dark tone, and soft. "He's gone, little one. Stuck his nose where it didn't belong. Made some powerful enemies, enemies who wanted him to disappear. So, disappear he did."

After he spoke those words, he walked away. Lissi stood there, unable to move, her fists clenched.

After overhearing Delugoth urging Fernithall to "take the lass, or I will take you both", amongst other low-toned threats, Mat goes over to him. She looks him in the face, telling him to leave now. He continues to threaten, but now threatens her as well. She doesn't care, so he goes back to threatening the others. She then whips out her dagger and presses it against his neck, telling him to leave them alone....before a foolish Watcher woman pulls her away and throws her in a cell. Leaving the evil man to walk free.
