| Outward Appearance | The Lady Niquissëa is short for a high born elf, and that is definitely what she is, for one can see the light of the trees on her face. There is also almost always a scowl on said face, which would otherwise be pretty, framed by cool toned blonde strands of hair that seem almost silver in the right light. Her eyes are a pale blue grey, and seem to almost see through you as she fixes one with her stern gaze. She is usually clad in colorful matching robes, though the color varies, depending on her mood. She is, despite her height, an intimidating presence. If the situation commands it, Lady Niquissëa carries a small golden dagger at her side, or a fine sword of elven making. |

Background
The Lady Niquissëa was born in Valinor, in the great days of the trees in Alqualondë, and she was called Cuawen by her mother, "dove-maiden", and Niquissëa by her father, "snowflake". She was originally a cheerful and loving child, with great love for the sea and the winds alike, and many loved her. Alas, she was but a young elleth, when her mother perished in the First Kinslaying, and her father sailed with his kin to Beleriand and left the child behind. Rage and sorrow befell her, for she was now utterly alone and betrayed for the first time.
She found solace in the art of combat, and learned to use sword and dagger quickly and proficiently, and despite her youth, joined the Host of the Noldor and crossed the Helcaraxë in pursuit of her treacherous father. She fought in the many battles to come, including the Dagor Aglareb, and afterwards followed Turgon to Tumladen and then dwelled in Gondolin for a time, and part of her heart will always remain in the Hidden Realm. For it is in Gondolin that she met Falasdil, one of the Sindar of Nevrast, and there was great love between them. It was he who called her Órënya, "my heart" which is a name she will not have spoken anymore. For Falasdil perished in the Fall of Gondolin, at fault of Maeglin the Betrayer, and so she was alone and betrayed a second time.
Since then her heart has hardened, and some who knew her during the second age in Eregion named her Tyelpórë, "silver-heart", for her heart was a hardy and cool as the metal they were working. But they were also betrayed, for Annatar the gift-lord was not who he said, and he brought doom to Eregion, and so she was alone and betrayed a third time.
Finally, the Lady Niquissëa Tyelpórë now dwells in Imladris, and has taken it upon herself to teach the history of her people to the younger of her folk, especially the uglier parts, for they might learn from it and brace themselves for whatever may come.
