Physical Appearance: Talthion stands tall at 6ft 3 inches supported by a broad, well-maintained physique. Whilst he may seem somewhat intimidating due to his stature and deep, resonating voice, there are elements of fairer features to be found in his well-groomed beard and long, wavy hair; both of which are a light shade of brown. These features however are somewhat tarnished by the small scar that cuts across the lid and lower part of his right eye, faint and almost hidden from plain sight. His eyes, said to be his most dominant feature, are a light blue with a glint of youth still about them. He is often dressed in fine armour and burgundy coloured cloth, the colour chosen to symbolise that of House Verrar. The armour in question is patterned, styled and a spectacle to behold. The crest of the House etched upon the centre of the breastplate. Overall, he would seem a friendly sort and easily approachable. However, in battle would be a fierce adversary and certainly someone whom you would want by your side.
Distinguishing Features: Other than the aforementioned scar that sits upon the right side of his face, there is nothing extraordinary about the man.
Education: Talthion received an extensive education from hired scholars who visited the estate and schooled him throughout his youth. This included the reading of great literature, writing in a fine hand and ballroom etiquette. A keen learner, by all accounts, with an aptitude for history and lineage.

Preferred Choice of Weaponry: He usually carries only one weapon, a greatsword of impeccable craftsmanship. Sparing no expense, the blade is adorned with detailed patterning and a small jewel fixed upon the centre of the crossguard. It is an elegant weapon, which has seen many battles and subsequently passed down throughout generations. Talthion carries it with great pride and maintains it often.
Special Abilities/Skills: Talthion is a skilled combatant, a cunning strategist and well-versed in statesmanship. He has been groomed to succeed his father in every way, but is more invested in channelling his fortune towards helping others. He forges alliances and friendships with ease and is an inspiring presence upon the battlefield due to his fierce loyalty and comradery. |

Background
House Verrar is a noble and proud estate, passed down from generations of men and women who serve as a pillar of the Westcomb community on the outskirts of Bree. Men of the House were often sworn into service of arms and statecraft, as per tradition. Talthion, the heir of Percival Verrar, was no exception.
Sent away from an early age, he was taught and trained by scholars and weapon masters alike in preparation for the time in which he succeeded his father. Initially, he was an unruly, rebellious sort. Often described as a ‘wild beast’ in need of taming. Reluctantly, and under firm hand, he yielded to his responsibilities but on his own terms. He, unlike his predecessors, would use his title and fortune for the greater good. He became deeply invested in the people who would be in his charge. Servants, farmers, tradesmen and families; he would befriend them all and give them aid when required.
Tried and tested in battle against the marauding orcs and goblins of Eriador, he obtained a knighthood in service of the land. Nothing quite as grand or ceremonious as that which would be received in greater realms, but a modest title of knight-errant, with leave and freedom to roam the land under no liege command. With this, he decided to devote his strength and knowledge into the homeland dear to his heart.
Talthion became increasingly popular due to his frivolous and loyal nature. When farmers were in trouble with local brigands, there he would ride. If people under his charge were struggling to make ends meet, his purse was open. He sought to reinvent the pompous and proud element of House Verrar and has succeeded in doing so thus far.
At present, Talthion is still located in Westcomb on the estate. He is often called to aid the forces of Bree-land and neighbouring lands whom he answers without pause. Still quite young and curious to the world, he is ever learning and growing as a person. The pages within his book remain blank, and his story is yet to be written...
