| Outward Appearance | Visvaldis of Mordor, also known affectionately as Valdi, is a stout-axe dwarf who stands at five feet tall, while weighing around fourteen stone. Visvaldis is a fairly pale skinned dwarf of the age one hundred and eight years old. The dwarf keeps the top of his head shaved bald and his beard on the shorter side as his gesture of mourning for his fallen people. The dwarf also bears various scars on his face and body from his slavery years in Mordor, but his most noteworthy scar is over his right eye, which he obtained in a fight in Mordor. Visvaldis and his brother were thrown into arenas and forced to fight other dwarves or animals for the amusement of the orcs overseeing their enthrallment. On Visvaldis' final fight he lost his right eye. Afterwards he was discarded by the orcs. (For Visvaldis' voice and accent, I recommend that one think of the late Paul Frees' vocal performance as Kubla Kraus from the movie Jack Frost, for an idea of how Visvaldis sounds.) |
