| Outward Appearance | An ordinary hobbit lass, just about at her majority, fairly pretty, with a round, squishy face, a squishy body, and long, very curly hair. She wears Shire-folk clothes that are carefully stitched of good, solid cloth, dyed in pretty colors, and kept clean and in good repair. She always wears an apron of good homespun or gingham, tied 'round her waist. Also round her waist is a belt of soft brown leather, which she hangs an assortment of tools from - a pincushion, a pair of thread-scissors, a thimble-cage, an eating-spoon, and two fine sharp knives. She has lumpy full pockets beneath her skirts, holding all manner of things even in her nice festival dresses. Her face shows her mood plainly. She's usually cheerful and finds plenty to smile about, but when someone has her upset she can be in a fine sulk! And if her face doesn't tell you clearly, well, listen to what she natters on to herself about and you'll figure it out soon enough. |

Background
Well, the story changes with every telling, doesn't it? It grows and twists and turns such that none can tell truth from fiction! Save those that were there, of course.
What stays the same is simple at its core. She came from somewhere along the Brandywine, perhaps Buckland, perhaps the Marish. Her mother was a seamstress and her father a gardener. She learned to grow things like her da, to cook the things she grew, and to sew like her ma. She set out from home with just a little pack of goodies (must have some Brandybuck in her!). Wither she went, and whether she goes, who knows?
