| Outward Appearance | Gwahaenis is an adult woman of average height for a Gondorian. Her skin is a dark brown colour with warm, reddish undertones, which is why she would often choose golden jewellery to compliment it. At the moment however the only piece of jewellery she wears is the golden clasp that holds her fine black curls together at the neck. She has traded her silk robes for average-looking Breelander's clothing but still wears blue as the colour of Dol Amroth. While no minstrel would sing a song of her radiant beauty, Gwahaenis holds herself with the confidence and grace of an upperclass Gondorian lady, and that is enough to make an impression anyway. |

Background
Gwahaenis is the daughter of two Haradrim merchant families from Dol Amroth. While her mother's family has settled in the city more recently, her father's family has lived there for generations and is more assimilated into Gondorian culture. They have served as mercantile and diplomatic advisors to the noble House of Edhelion for many years. "Gwahaenis" (Far Away Woman) is a common name in their line, after a revered ancestor who first came to Gondor and took on a Sindarin name.
Growing up adjacent to Dol Amroth's highest social circles and the court, she enjoyed an extensive education in languages, politics, business and music. As a young adult she began to take on duties as an emissary for House Edhelion, assisting her father in his work. After returning home from a prolonged stay in Minas Tirith, she was suddenly sent away to follow Nestadlien, the daughter of House Edhelion fleeing political turmoil in Dol Amroth.
