Cuchullin is of average height, bald with a thick, short beard of dark brown hue, shaved at the neck, accentuating a strong jaw line. He has fairly heavy eyebrows which almost meet in the middle and grey/blue eyes which look piercing and bright if he chooses to look at you.

He usually wears a long, deep purple cloak with the hood down, elegant but not ostentatious, with black, worn leather boots. His cloak hides his figure but reveals his face, although he is often deep in thought and so the brilliance of his eyes are usually hidden by his somber, stern appearance. His fingerless gloves reveal hands that are used to physical work, but they are kept clean. A silver chain hangs around his neck which disappears inside his cloak, hiding what is attached. He is strongly built but this is not noteworthy at first glance due to his clothing. Closer inspection of his neck and the outline of his shoulders suggest that he is athletic and able to handle himself. He carries himself with a thoughtful, serious look, but when enjoying himself he appears energetic and bright and smiles honestly and wholeheartedly.
