Background
Calaeth was born in Gondor, the first daughter and the third child of Nastandîr, a captain in the Gondorian army and Emelien a woman of noble birth of Dol Amroth.
When she was ten years old, her family welcomed a new member, her first cousin from her mother’s side, Farildal, who had remained orphaned. The two become very close and soon Calaeth gained not only an older sister, but a friend as well.
Shortly after Farildal’s arrival into her family, the two girls started training alongside Calaeth’s brothers, under the guidance of their father. Calaeth discovered quickly that her impulsiveness and lack of patience made her a poor archer, but the same defects could be turn into qualities if she was given a sword and a shield.
Much to her father’s pride, Calaeth had followed closely in his footsteps and became a Guardian. When she was only eighteen, she said goodbye to Farildal, who left to join the Rangers of Ithilien.
Calaeth finds herself most comfortable between solid, stone structures, a nice, warm fireplace and cosy furs. She’s fascinated by the Dwarven mines and wishes to be able to visit them all. She hates the cold and suffers of sea sickness, something she discovered very quickly when she boarded her first ship in Dol Amroth.
