Bragorlas (S “wild leaf”) was begotten in Lorien on 2075 TA, the only son of a couple of renowned Galadhrim march-wardens (Belegoth and Cúvroval). Destined to follow the family tradition, as soon as he reached maturity he started training to become a border guard.

Once admitted as one, Bragorlas was assigned to the company watching over Nanduhirion from Echad Andestel, where he gained experience fighting the orcs sent to occupy the ruins of Moria. There he witnesses the Battle of Azanulbizar (2799 TA), his company being instructed not to intervene.

Soon after the start of the third millennia of the Third Age, and eager to explore new lands, Bragorlas finds an excuse to be allowed to leave Lothlorien and departs to find and bring back his old time companion, Ellothon. Bragorlas then traverses Fangorn, crosses the Isen and following the old North-South road through Enedwaith and Minhiriath, he reaches Sarn Ford and finally the Grey Havens. There he learns that Ellothon has joined the Mithdirith, the military branch of the Loth-i-Lonnath, and after spending some time with them at Thamas Lorn, Bragorlas begins his journey back to Lorien, now taking the eastward route.
