Outward Appearance

Tough, but not overly muscular figure, with deft hands of a worker, somewhat rough to the touch. Slender, but athletic legs, appearance of which lies somewhere between the city-dwelling women and the sellswords roaming the land.
Her face bears the typical look of a bree-lander, but with some outlandish features to it, being visibly narrower than the typical local face, with a few other, minor differences. An almost vertical scar is marring the woman's right cheek, old and not huge, but visible. Furthermore, a small mole is seen just at the right corner of her lips.

Her skin is bright, but somewhat tanned due to long exposure to the sun, and the eyes vibrant green, usually stoic and/or wary.

Background

Daughter of a woodswoman, just like herself, Kestrea was raised strictly in the outlandish traditions of her family - including reluctance in sharing her name and having to build her own shack in the woods of Bree-land, choosing the northern edges of Chetwood for it. Her life is simple - as the winter snows melt, she packs up and travels off to far lands, exploring and hunting, both for sustenance and to stock up for trade. Throughout spring, summer and the autumn, she travels various lands, only to make return as the winds grow colder and the winter readies to set in. Then, the woman returns with furs and materials to trade, exchanging it for coin or favours - and gifting to those that have aided her in the past. Then, when the winter sets in, Kestrea spends it in her shack, visiting people in the town or reading novels and traveling logs of other people if the winter is harsh and snow makes travel too difficult.
And so it has been for over ten years. War or not, life must go on.
