An Elven lass of the Liaquendi, a simple woodland folk according to Tolkien's "The Silmarillion," the Laiquendi were traditionally very lightly armed and armored and suffered devastating losses in the conflicts of the first Age. losses from which they never truly recovered, and after which they went into seclusion in Ossiriand (Lindon)

Gwyndolwyn eventually endeavors to leave the seclusion of her beloved Harlindon in search of some deep mystery, much to the ire of her kin, for whom their reclusive posture has served well for millennia. Brand new to the outside world, in many ways Gwyndolwyn would not be unlike a Breeland Hayseed in Cirdan's court, even amongst her own people.

Gwyndolwyn has a twin sister, Glasswyn.
