Background
Sophie Leafcutter was born into the well-established Leafcutter family. They have members in the Scholar's Stair Archives, the Hunting Lodge, and they have connections in the Combe Lumber Yard with the Pickthorns.
Her uncle, Newbold Leafcutter, is one of the primary members of the Scholar's Stair and was an important influence in garnering Sophie's interest in all things Bree-land: its history, culture, and way of life. She had access to every form of documentation that her uncle willingly provided, and that exposure to old, glorious tales and funny ballads nurtured her into a talented musician.
Sophie is extremely approachable by Bree-land standards. She is always toying with one of her instruments, eating food, and working her days away for coin. She refuses to rely entirely on her family for her lifestyle, and makes a habit of working in Combe under the Pickthorn family to make ends meet.
