Background

Isillwen Elendiliel, byfriends called Isil,  is a kinswoman of the House of Isildur. Side, matrilinear, descendant of Elendil, Aragorn-Elessar's younger cousin, orphaned as a very young child.

As one of the last Numenorean descendants, she is blessed with a gift (or curse) of very long age in human measures. Not very tall and rather slim, with her girlish face, in her mid 50s, she appears at sight as a fragile and soft woman, but it's a very false impression.

She grew up among wandering group of Dunedain, but her very curious and independent nature of the truth-seeker led her to wander the world on her own, often in a company of people of different race and origin, so her maneers and conduit became very much like the rover's ones - she smokes, drinks and fights a lot and she often uses not very noble words.

Her strongest interest is to study the past and true nature of reality, so she became a well-recognized scholar and linguist, taught by wizards, especially Mithrandir and Radagast the Brown. She never trusted Saruman, he appeared to her very anthipatic and megalomaniac.

Friend to all free people, in neverending quest to understand the nature of reality and to find her true identity and very own place in Middle-Earth. She has no interest in close interpersonal relations, being a trustworthy but always lone traveller.

=============

How the wise wizards say, the noble woman alwas knows, when to act rude and when to behave like a dame. It's especially accurate for royal descendants.
