Orual is a Nandor elf. She is a wander and a loner. Her homeland is now deserted. Her family have all gone to the west. She does not feel ready to leave - too enthralled by the beauty and strangeness of middle-earth. 

She has no permanent residence but she lodges at a house in Bree-land from time to time (Home of a little hobbit called Lorau - who was originally from Buckland)

((I am allowing Orual wander middle earth. Some may argue that some of the areas that she enters are not suitable for Elves but I am working on the theory that since the histories record prominent Elves getting lost and backtracking and taking diversions (Lenwë, Elwë) and splitting away from the main group and settling elsewhere (Nandor) it is plausible that ordinary elves who are not recorded in the main histories may still be wandering middle earth at this time. The histories also mention that the final fate of some elves are not known/recorded (Green-elves)))
