Vadmir's Background

Vadmir's mother, Mornel, was a black stain on the noble House of Elaithan of Gondor, she were a criminal and a murderer who tried to evade the law and escape to Rohan where she joined a band of brigainds. They were effectively taken care of by Gondorian agents and brought back to Gondor for justice. She were sentenced to death for her crimes but as she were pregnant she were allowed to give birth before her execution. Mornel named her son Vadmir and gave him to her sister, Ostaell.

Vadmir grew up in Minas Tirith in the care of his aunt, Ostaell, and his granduncle, Halseth. They, in the contrary to the rest of the House, didn't view him as a dirt-stain on their noble family. Halseth schooled him and gave him various usefull skills that'd come in handy to the House of Elaithan, to allow him to ascend from the rank of "dirt" that Aegorand, master of the House, so cruely had named it (only unofficially though).

One day Vadmir was tasked with finding a man that had caused a major scandal within the House, involving Îrneth, Mornel and Ostaell's sister. He followed his trail, all the way to a ship that went north from Dol Amroth, before it got cold. He made a lot of assumptions and followed the only leads he could find that led him to Breeland.

The House of Elaithan

The House of Elaithan are highly revered bankers of Gondor, stationed mainly in Minas Tirith. Important members of the House are as listed below:

Aegorand, the master of the House, and rules the business with a firm grip, he's an excellent speaker and always has the final word.

Rivornel, Aegorand's wife, handles book-keeping. She's intelligent, proud, strong-willed and can talk down any noble lord. She can also be very charming when it is in her interest to be so.

Halseth handles the less mathematical information, such as information about events taking place, scandals and rumors. Halseth is both wise and cunning.

Ostaell and Îrneth, daughters of Rivornel and Aegorand, visits points of interest beyond Minas Tirith and are more of social missionaries of the business interests of House Elaithan.

Mornel, shame of Rivornel and Aegorand, the black sheep of the House, murderess, mother of the bastard son Vadmir, executed for her crimes against Gondor. She used to have the same duties as her sisters, Ostaell and Îrneth.
