BRUNALD FROSTMANE

Brunald was born on October 21st, T.A. 2926 of The Third age, in The Blue Mountains. His childhood was an average dwarvish one, until September of 2941. This year, Brunald’s father, Nolod, receives word from the armies of Dáin Ironfoot. The dwarf made haste to leave, since he was required in a great battle. Brunald however, left now with an absent mother, had to build his life up. He was only a child of fifteen at the time, yet began to sustain himself. To begin with, he sold all of the belongings that he or his family no longer required such as jewellery and silverware. He made quite a name for himself, through his natural persuasion and mercantile capabilities.

In his 50th year of life, long after the Battle of the Five armies

had been won, and Dáin was King under the Mountain, his father returned from Erebor. As the old war hero passed through the gates of Falathlorn, he was swarmed by Dourhand troops and given no chance or help from nearby elves. As Brunald heard this news, his hate for elves grew tenfold. He had no choice but to continue trading, now a successful crafter and supplier. As he reached his 75th birthday, the dwarf set out for Bree, in hopes of establishing new connections with the men there. Though what he might encounter in Bree, was a complete surprise to him.
