Bornith was born and raised in Rivendell Valley. She grew up playing and fighting with Sidhon, Rainith, and others. She had a firey temper, and was known for biting, hair pulling, and scratching the other children when angry. 

Sidhon, who is quiet and reserved, fell in love with Bornith as a child. He loved her temper, except when he or Rainith bore the brunt of it, and admired her ability to say exactly what was on her mind. He courted her for many years, until they were finally married.

Bornith joined Sidhon on his travels to find his sister, Rainith, and was greviously injured in a fight with a wild animal. Her wounds were healed as best as they could be, but she is unable to walk without a limp and the use of a cane for stability. Bornith's hobbit friend Amygdalus had a lovely cane carved out of lebethron wood for her.

Now, Bornith stays at home and takes care of the house and yard to the best of her abilities. She's rarely seen out in public anymore, she feels like an outcast among the healthy and hale elves of Rivendell. She welcomes visitors to her home, however, and these days she is almost even-tempered.
