| Outward Appearance |  Naris is a Noldor. He was a guardian of the House of the Golden Flower under the comand of Glorfidel.
He served also Idril Celebrindal, the daughter of King Turgon of Gondolin and Elenwë, the wife of Tuor, and the mother of Eärendil the Mariner. For that he can use the emblem of Idril Celebrindal, that is stated to be an inlaid plaque saved from Gondolin and descending through Eärendil and his son Elros.
In the fallen of Gondollin all his parents dies ad he cannot defend they so he promise revenge on theirs graves. He travelled from Beleraind to Middle Earth figthing everywhere the darkness.
Now he stay often in Bree to try to understand the race of the man the unique race he think can give hope to the Middle Eart versus the darkness.
He try to find the love but his heart was again too hard, but sometimes things change..
So some man had said he has no honor with woman and some others said him he must forgive himself to the lost of his parent in Gondollin.
