A Dalish man of average height and weight, with long dark hair just beginning to gray, piercing blue eyes, and a tan complexion. Handsome in a rugged sort of way, with a glimmer in his eye and a charming smile. Tends to favor long coats, robes, or haubereks when traveling, but is no stranger to dressing more formally when the occasion calls for it, or in armor if required. The only visible weapon he carries is a finely crafted and incredibly old sword clearly of Elvish-make he calls "Diminuendo" but always has his favorite harp with him, along with several other instruments, songbooks, and supplies nearby on his steed. |

Background
The Minstrel Brinhelm Halladin (or 'Brin' to his friends) is known throughout Eriador, Gondor and Rhovanion alike, as an accomplished Musician and Entertainer. He travels all over bringing his songs and tales to every corner of Middle Earth, in search of adventure and riches, and often times finds both along-side a good chunk of trouble as well. He has been doing so for over a decade now with no signs of slowing down, and has achieved a fair amount of fame and fortune as a result. He is known to be quite charitable, and has contributed greatly in both money and work efforts to rebuild Archet, Hytbold, and most recently the Westfold.

The only son to a successful Shipwright in Laketown, Brin opted to study his music lessons more vigorously than his woodworking ones, finding he had a natural talent for the art as did his Mother before him. Being his first teacher she taught him well, and brought out the inherent gift within the young Brinhelm, who's progress greatly pleased her. This ultimately disappointed his Father as a result, wanting his only son to take up his family business someday instead.

Still, he idolized his old man, in fact it was he who instilled the adventurous streak Brin now has by telling him the story of when he was a boy and survived the vicious attack of Smaug the Terrible one Autumn night. This would go on to fuel his inherent need to travel and explore, as well as his hatred for Dragons and all Dragon Kin. Even still, their relationship has never recovered which made leaving easier when his Mother passed away from illness eleven years ago. Brinhelm hasn't been back to Laketown since nor spoken to his Father who became completely withdrawn shortly there-after.
