A shadow stands to the side, watching you with blue-grey eyes from beneath a hood of black. Piercing her gaze would seem once it was noticed, astute, canny and clever as it would hold your attention for a fleeting moment before once more she would melt into the darkness of the corners in which she would oft be found. Yet perhaps you would wish to observe her in closer detail, mysterious as she would be.

In doing so, you would notice a young woman remarkably short in stature, barely reaching 5ft1”, yet she would be curved and would present an hourglass figure beneath her robes of black silk and the furs and leathers that cover her body. Any exposed flesh (and often she would be seen in anything from her full body being covered with nothing but her eyes showing, to wearing almost nothing at all) would be covered in inked patterns of black, whirling in knots and designs all up her arms, legs, feet, back and neck.

Upon her left hand is a myriad of crisscrossing scars, as though someone has drawn a knife over the palm over and over again on many occasions. A single ring of gold is seen upon her left pinky finger, gleaming and glistening with a carefully engraved design of a stag head.

Usually, she would be found with bare feet, nothing but her black tattoos and a pair of ankle bracelets gracing each foot. The anklets would be made of teeth strung onto a single thread of silver. Other jewellery upon her includes a necklace of freshwater shells and often she would be seen with two long bracelets running up her arms – bands of gold that twirl around in a myriad of knots. A silver torc is seen at her neck, with the head of a stag again at each of the bosses. Piercings litter her ears, with jewellery of gold and silver, indicating that she is indeed somewhat wealthy.

If ever she were to pull back her hood, revealing herself to you fully then you would notice her hair to be black, thick and hanging down to her waist. Many miniscule braids are woven into her hair, with wooden beads often plaited into them. Although sporting a sweeping side fringe upon one side, you may notice that framing her face upon the other side is a small patch of shaved skin.

Upon her thin leather belt that hugs her figure gently, you would notice the horn of an ox, seemingly a drinking horn. Closer inspection would reveal that every inch of the horn is covered with many tiny engravings that vary considerably in nature. Also upon her belt is a knife of steel, with a hilt of gold, inlaid with a few precious stones and metals.
