Background
Known as Fal to his friends, He was born in the Westfold and grew up the son of a Rider of the Mark. His father died in a skirmish against Orcs when he was Eight. His mother withdrew into her despair at his father's death and he claims to this day she died of a broken heart. He lived with his uncle for the next nine years, learning to forge blades and other implements at his uncle's smithy.
At seventeen he decided to strike it out on his own, opening a small smithy in a remote village in the Westfold. He worked it for several years, never making much gold, but reveling in his independence and new found skill. His work was geared more toward farm implements, but late at night he would go to work pursuing the art of a weapon smith. Each morning he would rise and look out over the grassland before going to his forge, dreaming of adventure or the glory that might lay over the horizon.
When he was twenty-five, after many years of laboring in the small village, he took his small savings and purchased his steed named Beredhrad. He girded his waist with the finest sword he had made at the time and loaded up a pack horse with any other weapons of worth he had crafted. He spurred his horse forward, riding to the East, never looking back.
Over the next several years he wandered about, doing odd jobs and working as a smith at other men's forges. He eventually came across the town of Bree less than two year ago and took a liking to it. He settled in and began plying his trade, prospecting ore and then crafting weapons to sell. Fal built up a good business and bought a house in the Worgall Homestead.
He met a fiery red head named Edhelong a year ago and she filled something that was missing in his heart. He quickly fell in love with her and asked her to marry. They have a son, Saelthon.
