| Outward Appearance | Daellas is rather dark-haired for a man of Rohan. He has inherited that from his mother as well as his character making him a proud and stubborn man. He has a calm presence and a rather low-pitched voice. He can often be found minding his own thoughts, while the smoked tobacco leaf sooths his worries. His mind always turns to endless pondering, exploring every detail and may often make him seem grumpy. Although he never prefers a leading role, he often finds himself setting the directions, leaving it to the people to follow him or not. He cares for the man and woman standing beside him, and would die to keep them alive. He holds loyalty, determination and courage in high regard and expects it from his friends that stride beside him. His weakness would be his stubbornness and his temper.

Background
Daellas, son of Argath the strong. His childhood he spend in Rohan living an untroubled youth. His father Argath was one of the Rohirrim. After the sudden death of Argath, his mother decided to leave Rohan with her two sons Daellas and Arunel. They were at the age of 11 and 8 at that time. She made her way through to Gap of Rohan all the way to Bree. Here she found a new home in Staddle. Daellas worked for many years at a lumber camp near Staddle. In his free time he practiced melee combat and javelin tossing with weapons he created himself. After he reached maturity he joined the Bree watch. Filled his days and nights with patrol and guarding duties. A poorly pay, but enough to live for (Chronicle: Sons of Argath).
As troubles in the east rose, more of men and women of the Mark seeking refuge were found in the western lands. On a particular day Daellas decided to join the Esquires of the Riddermark, a kinship that would give him the opportunity to return to his homeland. His military skills were put to good use, as the road ahead will be hard. He became oathbound to his fellow kin, to protect them in times of need.
His largest expedition took him and a select company of Arunel, Wulfreda, Tidhelm, Melowen and Leofmund to the Gap of Rohan. An expedition that changed his life. Up to the very gates of Isengard they went boldly not realizing what power lay behind its gates (Chronicles: Paths of Honor + Scouting the Gap of Rohan). The expedition turned ill at the tower of Orthanc, Leofmund was lost and the company fled back north to Bree, which had nearly cost the lives of those he held dear.
Daellas and his fellow Eorlings braved the mountain pass in the following winter. A foolish effort that went from bad to worse. (Chronicle: Return of the Eorlingas) Snowstorms broke the company and Daellas lost his way in the high peaks. Slavers found him and dragged him to Dunland where he was sold to savage tribes (Chronicle: Slave of Dunland). He endured and made it out alive, but never was so close to death.
Daellas was assassinated together with his brother.
