Chronicle Content
In the Northfarthing of the Shire, north of the village of Long Cleeve, the body of Oldo North-Took was found ravaged in the wilderness. The halflings grew worried and panicked, that one of their own had been killed by a vicious beast.. A group of Rangers gathered to investigate this death to see if their fears of a growing shadow were correct. The Rangers set out from the northern tower of Barad Uial deeper in the North Moors, to avoid the watchful eye of the halflings so as to not make them afeared. The remains of Oldo were discovered, and it led the Rangers to find Wargs, south of the remains of Oldo. The group engaged the Wargs and in their defeat they were sent scampering further north. The Rangers pressed on, to continue tracking them. Stopping in Bar Faroth and driven by fervor, some set out to Ost Lagorath, but did not return.
