I often find myself looking to Mordor, my heart heavy. I yearn for days long past when shadow and evil did not blanket your heart. I wonder if you remember those times, or if the corruption by Morgoth has rid your heart of pleasant memories such as those. Do you remember, melethron, the days we spent at the forges? I remember how your eyes shone with pride as you worked. I keep the ring you crafted for me close. Out of all possessions, it is the most important one to me, as it is the last I have of you.
The Morgul-wound pains me still, though it is dull. I was able to leave for Valinor, and at times I regret not doing so. But while you still live in the shadows, so shall I live in Middle Earth. Guren min gaim lin, melethron.
Notice: With the Laurelin server shutting down, our website will soon reflect the Meriadoc name. You can still use the usual URL, or visit us at https://meriadocarchives.org/
