Long has it been since any rumors. tidings or any other telling where the lady of 7 Haven Way of Lant Veren had gone, even I have searched but for naught found anything but a empty, dusty house. I dared not think the thoughts many might do when finding the house that used to be full of light, joy and warmth cold, dark and quiet. As I was sitting there, a cloaked and hooded figure quietly passed by. Here follows the the return of the lady in 7 Haven way of Lant Veren.
It was a cold late summer or early autumn evening, raining as well it was, days, weeks, months maybe even years had now passed, not that none seemed to count since the house went cold, dark and quiet, as a hooded and cloaked figure passed in through the gates to the homestead, seeming lost for a moment before the figure started to walk the path that it knew so well, for it had walked the path many a days and years now, yet..something seemed as if it was changed, was it the path? Was it the homestead? Was it the figure itself that had changed?
Not long after footsteps could be heard as the figure made its way up Haven way and towards the dark and quiet house, a soft click could be heard as a key was turned in the lock, and the door swung open to about half and the hooded figure went inside. Was it so? Had the lady of 7 Haven Way returned? Where had she been? Why had she left?
Carefully the door was opened from the inside and a voice came from within in the house, not the same soft voice as once filled the house with gentle songs and words, this voice seemed..harsher..darker and perhaps even spiteful "Do you want to sit out in the rain and freeze your beard off? Or do you wish to come inside where there is no rain?" The voice said, carefully the stranger stood up and weary on his steps he made his way to the door and in through it.
The inside were dark and gloomy, there were little to no furniture left in the house and cold but dry. Suddenly a flame in the fireplace lit up the house to a certain degree, in the flickering light from the fire the stranger caught a few glimpses of the face under the hood, the face seemed to be marred in ways or was it the shadows that played the stranger a prank? Some loose strands of the hair was also visible..pale golden it was. As the hodden figure saw that the stranger looked at its face the figure gave a smile, the smile was warm as the hooded figure spoke again, this time the voice seemed to be different again "So your'e the one that has been casting a shadow for so long over me? Who's followed me..searched for me.?" There were no malice or ill intent in the voice nor was it in the strangers actions either as many were worried about the lady, if the figure now were here the stranger thought
"Fear not stranger for you may yet be a shadow." the figure said again turning away to put another log on the fire before turning back to the stranger "Why do you come here to seek the lady of the house?" The question took the stranger completely off guard as he uttered a bit worried "Her friends are worried about her whereabouts, if she is well and still lives or if they should have the need to hold a ceremony in her honor to say their last good byes." The hooded figured smiled again, this time the shadow covered their face more as the figure laughed, a laugh that was and used to be well known within the homestead and in the Last homely house "Worried that I might be gone? Dead or worse? Captured? Even sailed westward? The figured said before the hood fell and the fire rose higher and brighter in the fireplace "Nay.. gone am I not..dead not even close and sailed west? Why should I leave my friends behind in a time of need?" the now unhooded lady Tardhilhael said to the stranger who stood quiet before her "They should know that I may walk for time to time for long but yet their concern is most welcomed and I shall see them in a few days, or at least try." she said and gave the stranger one of her warm smiles.
"As for where I have been..that is not for you to know but my friends only." She said after a few moments as the stranger nodded, his task was in his eyes complete, the lady had now returned to 7 Haven Way and light once again came from the fireplace, the stranger shook her hand gently "May the stars watch over you lady Tardhilhael, for here I will leave you for good and I do hope you find your friends, they care more than you know about you." And with those words the stranger turned and quietly made his way out through the door, never to look back nor to come back to the house nor lady Tardhilhael, for it were no real stranger yet she never recognized him.
The stranger were none else then her beloved Beridhren who had been granted by Mandos to return so that he could see his fair and beloved Tardhilhael once more before he would wait for her in the lands in the west. He smiled as he looked back and spoke for himself "She is home..safe and will so be from now on, with friends that are worried and one day I shall be able to hold her again, walk by her side and laugh and sing together." as the hooded stranger walked into the shadows only to fade away into the night from where he once had came.
