Inyahin, The Worm-Slayer

After hearing songs and rhymes of the events in Misty Mountains and of the Dragon Smaug, Inyahin thought it would be prudent to learn fighting proficiencies against Dragon Kind.

During her travels through the town of Bree, and her respite in the prancing pony, albeit cloaked to hide her pointy ears. She heard tales of people being waylaid by fire breathing dragons in Angmar.

And in her quest, she was supplied with armour and shields and trinkets by her new friends in Vanimar so she would stand a better chance of success.

So off she went, through Bree, to the north downs and to the West side of Angmar. To the Mountain Passes of Ram Duath. Up and down she went, through valleys, and mountain paths. There were worms and dragons a plenty. Some Young, Some Old. There was a mommy dragon and a daddy dragon... All vicious, most fire breathing.

She cut her way through the onslaught of dragon-kind in the mountains, singing songs of rejuvenation as she went. Until she came to the highest peak, with a dark dank cave which smelt like death. Guarded by the flying Naglangon, the toughest and meanest, with hottest fire of all Inyahin had encountered.

Inyahin had to use all of her acquired knowledge in song and healing to keep herself immune to the onslaught of violence bestowed on her by the dragon. But her sword was extra sharp, and she sang extra loud. It took everything she had, but in the end she smote him, his fires went out and he lay lifeless beneath her.

Upon her return, her deeds were recognized by the elves and they spoke of such grand titles as the Great Drake Slayer and Enemy of Dragon Kind.

Inyahin is one step closer to being ready for the battles against the darkness of the east that await her future.
