Part 6: Likes And Dislikes
70. What is/are your favorite hobbies and pastimes? I’m not sure I have any? I suppose knitting might count, though when you sell something, is it still a hobby? I like writing in my diary. Going for walks round Knotwood. I like music and song. I miss caring for animals, it’s just Pumpkin now!
71. What is your most treasured possession? I’m not sure I have one. I don’t have much in the way of possessions.
72. What is your favorite color? Blue or green! Especially with gold.
73. What is your favorite food? Anything sweet! Oi, now you have me thinking of fruit tarts and I want one.
74. What, if anything, do you like to read? Well, there’s not much reading to be found for Bree common folk. I hear there’s a place in town with scrolls and books and such, but I’ve never been there myself. I keep all the letters that folk write to me, though, and I read them from time to time. Or I read over my old diaries.
75. What is your idea of good entertainment (consider music, movies, art, etc.)? Nothing like a lively fiddle or lute and some dancing with friends! Even if I can’t rightly dance along, it’s so much fun just to be there and soak up all the joy in the air.
76. Do you smoke, drink, or use drugs? If so, why? Do you want to quit? Nay, I don’t do any of that!
77. How do you spend a typical night? Making sure the Boarding House is tidy. See that all the beds are made, the fires are good. Then it’s a cozy chair with a blanket over my legs till my eyes get heavy! In the summer, I might take a walk under the stars or sit by the water.
78. What makes you laugh? Oh, lots of things! Seeing other folk being jolly or silly, especially folk you love and care for. It just makes it all the more con...conta...what’s that word?
79. What, if anything, shocks or offends you? Hrm. We were having such nice questions, and now this? I don’t like to think on such things. But...well, anything violent or cruel or untoward.
80. What would you do if you had insomnia and had to find something to do to amuse yourself? Oh, good, this question is better! But what’s insom… oh, when you can’t sleep? Hrm. I might take a walk if the weather were agreeable. They say fresh air helps when you can’t sleep.
81. How do you deal with stress? *deep breath* Not very well, I think. I tend to fret.
82. Are you spontaneous, or do you always need to have a plan? Oh, nay, who always needs a plan? I like surprises!
83. What are your pet peeves? Rude folk. Laziness.
Part 7: Self Image, Etc.
84. Describe the routine of a normal day for you. How do you feel when this routine is disrupted? Well, this isn’t an interesting question at all, is it? Emm. It’s just, get up, get the fire going, heat water, get breakfast laid out. It’s mostly just chores and running the house. That’s not much to talk about! And I don’t mind interruptions much, they make the day more interesting.
85. What is your greatest strength as a person? Hmm. Greatest strength. I don’t like to boast, so I’m not sure what I should say. Maybe just that I’m not afraid to work hard. I don’t know.
86. What is your greatest weakness? Oh, goodness. I guess we aren’t talking about outward things, because my leg would be the obvious answer! Greatest weakness. I think I tend to get too attached to folk, too easily. And I can be a little blind to their faults.
87. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? I suppose I’d fix my leg. It’d be nice not to have to worry about it, and be able to do the same things everyone else can.
88. Are you generally introverted or extroverted? What do those words mean? Oh...I see. Introv...introverted, then. I like being at home or just with folk I know most of the time. Meeting new people is fine, but lots of new faces or big crowds can be a little tiring.
89. Are you generally organized or messy? Organized! I don’t like messes.
90. Name three things you consider yourself to be very good at, and three things you consider yourself to be very bad at. When can I stop talking about myself? Heh. Emm. Good at. Well, knitting, maybe. Taking care of folk, I think. And...hmm. Um. I don’t know. I make an all right cup of tea? Things I’m bad at, oh, this be much easier! Not getting attached to folk. Not worrying about folk. And...skipping rope! Ha ha!
91. Do you like yourself? I think so, aye. On the whole. I’ve got work to do on myself, but don’t we all?
92. What are your reasons for being an adventurer (or doing the strange and heroic things that RPG characters do)? I’m not an adventurer, sorry.
93. What goal do you most want to accomplish in your lifetime? *deep breath* Hmm. I’d like to get married and have a family. But I’d also be happy enough if I didn’t. I’d like to see some other lands beyond Bree. I mostly just want to be a good person what folk remember well.
94. Where do you see yourself in 5 years? Golly, I don’t know. I could just as easily be right there in the Boarding House or be somewhere else. Life throws a lot of surprises at us.
95. If you could choose, how would you want to die? Ugh, what a horrid thought! Eh. All right, all right. Umm. An old woman what lived a good, happy life, being held by someone she loves, and not in any pain.
96. If you knew you were going to die in 24 hours, name three things you would do in the time you had left. Find everyone I love and tell them how much I love them and hug them as long as I could. Maybe ask someone to kiss me. It’d be a sad thing to die without ever being kissed.
97. What is the one thing for which you would most like to be remembered after your death? Just that I were a good soul. “That Taite, she were a good lass.”
98. What three words best describe your personality? I couldn’t really say how someone else might think of me. You’d have to ask others! If I had to describe myself? Hardworking. Kind. Caring.
99. What three words would others probably use to describe you? Oh, here it is! And I’d rather not presume to put words in other folks’ mouths.
100. If you could, what advice would you, the player, give to your character? (You might even want to speak as if he or she were sitting right here in front of you, and use proper tone so he or she might heed your advice…) ((Keeping this as IC as possible, I won’t be answering this one.))
