Part 1: The Basics
1. What is your full name? Taite Rushwood!
2. Where and when were you born? Well, right here in Bree, of course. Twenty and a few summers ago.
3. Who are/were your parents? Ben and Bertha Rushwood. Isn’t that nice, how both their names start with a B?
4. Do you have any siblings? Aye, my brother Emory. He’s a little older than I am.
5. Where do you live now, and with whom? I live at the Knotwood Boarding House. With whom changes all the time! Right now it’s Master Tumunir, Mister Tarvarthal, and Miss Finchley.
6. What is your occupation? Just running the Boarding House! I do a little sewing and knitting on the side, though.
7. Write a full physical description of yourself. Well, why, can’t you see me as I’m sitting right here? Hrm. Well. Emm. Not tall. Black hair. Green eyes. Is that enough?
8. To which social class do you belong? ...well...I don’t rightly know. Don’t think we have a lot of that sort of thing in Bree. I mean, I’m not living in the Alley?
9. Do you have any allergies, diseases, or other physical weaknesses? Just my leg.
10. Are you right- or left-handed? Right-handed!
11. What does your voice sound like? Why are you asking me what my own voice sounds like? You can hear it better than I can, seeing as you’re there and I’m inside my body! Ah, well, it just sounds like any other young lass, I suppose? I’ve been told I have a nice laugh, whatever that means.
12. What words and/or phrases do you use very frequently? Emm...I don’t know.
13. What do you have in your pockets? Well, let’s see here. Key to the Boarding House front door. Does my coin purse count as a pocket? Just a bit of copper in there. A handkerchief, never know when you might need one of those, aye?
14. Do you have any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics? I sure hope nobody thinks of me as strange or annoying! I mean, I limp, but I can’t rightly help that!
Part 2: Growing Up
15. How would you describe your childhood in general? Lovely! Warm. Full of love. Happy! Lots of hard work. I loved living on the farm.
16. What is your earliest memory? Oh, goodness, let’s see. Probably something to do with Ma and summer. I have a lot of memories of being little in the summer. I guess cause summer is such a happy time.
17. How much schooling have you had? Just what Pa and Ma taught me. Well, then Missus Hopmead taught me my letters last year, bless her forever for doing that!
18. Did you enjoy school? Well, I never went to school proper, but I do like learning new things.
19. Where did you learn most of your skills and other abilities? From Pa and Ma! We all had to help each other with the farm work. I couldn’t do everything that Pa could do, of course, so Emory helped with the heavier chores.
20. While growing up, did you have any role models? If so, describe them. Just Pa and Ma. Sorry, are these answers boring because I keep repeating myself? What? Oh, describe them. Pa were kind and strong and steady. And Ma were...she were smiling and full of hugs and never complained about anything. I miss them.
21. While growing up, how did you get along with the other members of your family? Just fine! It’s only been lately that.. Well, you didn’t ask about this, so never mind.
22. As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? I didn’t think much about it. When you’re a poor farmer’s daughter, you expect you’ll be a poor farmer’s wife when you grow up. And that’s not a complaint! I’d be perfectly happy to be that.
23. As a child, what were your favorite activities? Being outdoors! Taking care of the animals, especially the cows! Cows are so blooming sweet! Running, climbing, swimming, picking flowers.
24. As a child, what kinds of personality traits did you display? Same as I have now, I’d like to think!
25. As a child, were you popular? Popular? Hmm. I don’t rightly know.
26. When and with whom was your first kiss? ...I...I haven’t...had it yet...
27. Are you a virgin? Good gracious me!!
28. If you are a supernatural being (i.e. mage, werewolf, vampire), tell the story of how you became what you are or first learned of your own abilities. *uncontrolled giggling* ...wait, were that a serious question?
