I'm beginning to regret coming here. The more I get to know the people who call this land their home, the less I seem to be able to trust them.
Miss Rushwood I can no longer understand, her mood swings rapidly and I can never trust where her mind is when we meet. Not after that evening. To then hear that she's spoken ill of me while my back was turned, only for the woman to confirm it herself, gives me little reason to hold any good faith in her any longer.
The growth on her leg is of interest to me, but I'm unable to get involved, not after what has happened with this woman. I will not risk it.
I sent a letter to the elf that calls herself a healer, requesting that she visit my neighbour and place the woman into her care, as I cannot - to then hear that not only was miss Rushwood made to find this elf, but also return, to ask permission to use my barbershop, then presumably make her way back to the elf and into the barbershop again. All while her leg is in pain. It's pathetic. What respected healer does not have an establishment of their own to care for their patients? It makes no sense.
If she is able to muster any courage to ask me herself, then I shall consider it. Until then I shall refuse, I will not cater to a healer who hides behind her patients, insults me in my own establishment and continues to spread seeds of mistrust to those around her. I owe her nothing.
Aeruthuil has continued to make the Soothery his home and it has helped. We spoke on this matter and he explained the facade the woman puts up and the game she seems to play. It has opened my eyes to many things I didn't see before. It has given an explanation of the strange and sudden change in moods she has displayed lately. I feel foolish to have fallen for it.
I've given Silver an oil to try and sooth the aches in her leg. If it's not powerful enough, I'll have to test a different batch.
Aeruthuil has requested to try some of the oil as well for his back and shoulder. I was unaware that he carried such pain.
The work will keep me busy and my mind distracted.
* Make more oil
* Test the new components
* Sharpen and clean tools
