I stayed on the island and decided to await any news that may come this way. I was growing more worried with each passing moment. I closed my eyes and memories came flashing into my head. Soon I was back in the garden of our family home in Belfalas. I heard laughter all around me. I turned my head to see two boys running towards me and I smiled at them. "Mom... Nethillon and Araithil said that we cannot train swordplay with them, that's unfair!" - both of them said in the same time. I shook my head at them and embraced them. "Iarnuil, Iarvenil.. I told both of you that you are too young yet for playing with real weapons." - I said towards them before we all wandered away to watch my older sons practice. "Araithil... show Nethillon how to swing steel properly and don't make me ashamed!" - I heard then Naerhad's voice as he kept instructing them. We watched that spar then. Both of my older sons were already as fierce with their weapons as their father. Iarnuil kept encouraging Nethillon, who has always been for him the one to follow. Iarvenil was more focused on their moves. He wanted to fight as well as they did. Araithil finally charged at Nethillon with his sword pointed at him. He was sure that it is enough to bring him down and end the spar, and that's where he was wrong. Nethillon evaded his sword by turning around. Soon, he attacked Araithil from behind and collapsing him to the ground. "Hmmph... young ones always ready for show off.." - He grunted as Nethillon pointed his sword at him ending the spar, then both of them started to laugh. "We have still much ahead of us, if we keep together nothing can stop us.." - Nethillon then said towards his brother, and so we all started laughing. That was the last thing before everything around me started to fade away. "Mistress Gwathrian?" - I heard a voice out of nowhere and that's when I opened my eyes. I was back in the barracks. "Your son has arrived..." - guard then told me and I rushed to meet him. After he told me everything I felt so broken and devastated. Then I moved away as I wanted to stay alone.
