Remembering the past

Kristophor leaned against the post as he usually does, watching the patrons, the door and fire. He didn’t care much for socializing really, not anymore atleast. He heard laughter at the table behind him, he took a glance over to the people making merry at the familiar table. He suddenly found himself lost in the memory of when he was younger and first came to Bree, after being found and training with Aeruthuil, he was able to finally go to Bree where he found his lost brother Caliko. He watched the table, remembering him and Caliko, along with the others such as Mourdo another Gondorian, Ignarak a dwarf and Dulinion the elf also he couldn’t forget the wild woman who seemed to be obsessed with Kristophors boy like looks and up beat attitude. They laughed and raised drinks as they talked about their last adventure to foil some Brigands at their camp. It was a good time then, him and his friends and no more worries. He had coin, ale and companionship but most of all he had his brother with him. Kristophor watched the table still, remembering his brothers arm around him teasing him about the wild woman looking at him like a piece of meat, winking at him and sending kisses. Kristophor felt so awkward so frightened. He smirked under his mask a bit at the thought of it all. He slowly moved his gaze from the table coming back to reality and that there will be no more of those times for him. His gaze landed back on the fire, his mind returning to the problems at hand.
