Background
After his parents died from illness at a young age, Varheim grew up on the streets of Lake-Town, picking pockets and stealing from wealthy merchants in order to survive. While his boldness never won him any fans among the nobility, his natural silver-tongue managed to impress other children his age. He quickly built himself up a gang of street urchins who aided him in his heists.
When Varheim was around 14 years old, he realized that Lake-Town was beginning to be too cramped for him. He longed to see the outside world and go on the sorts of adventures that he heard about in the old stories. He signed up with one of the Dwarven caravans leaving from the Lonely Mountain and left his old life in Lake-Town behind.
Varheim fights very differently than other Northmen. He uses his natural agility to dance around his foes, weakening them before moving in for the kill. Those who have seen him in combat liken his movements to a cat's; Nimble, calculated, and lethal.
To many in Bree, Varheim identifies himself as a "businessman" who deals in rare or ancient artifacts. However, some rumors describe him in a more sinister light, making it seem that his criminal days are far from over...
