Earning Coin
The recovery is going rather well and I am feeling more like my old self every day, although the loss of the brooch still lingers on my mind.
I have been training at the Hookworth Barracks when I can, and taking regular trips to Bree with Kirseth.
During our travels we have been doing various jobs for folk to make a little coin.
Most of the jobs have been rather menial and paid little, but there were the odd one that was a little more dangerous and paid well, such as guard work around the farms of Bree-land.
It appears that most of the guards seem to be less suspicious of us now. Having traveled more, I have seen a darker side of Bree-land. There have been dark rumours of Orcs closing in from the North and the East, some traveling openly with men...not to mention the brigands and petty thieves.
I am beginning to understand why they were initially suspicious.
